In the last Quarter of 2018 I had the opportunity to lead the refurb of the former Reaidents Beach Club …… a sensitive return as so many wished it would never change – alas it was needed and so in 100 days we weaved some magic. My former Hyatt colleagues Antonio & Achim lent a helping hand – here is a little story behind the Club.

It was back in the early 90’s when this humble Palapa was all there was in Punta Mita – it was and remains the heart of Punta Mita – a place where the pillars of our community were framed , dreams became reality, partnerships and friendships were forged. In this Palapa the likes of Jack Nicklaus & Isidoro Sharp sat over a tequila and mapped out the initial stages of Punta Mita with Fernando Senderos and team. It’s setting is magic and it remains in the heart of the thousands that have visited Punta Mita over the last 2 decades.

Allow us to introduce the Pacifico Beach Club which pays homage to those humble beginnings with a revamped look and feel while nostalgically keeping that special magic that makes this Punta Mita landmark so special to so many.

What can you look forward to at the Pacifico Beach Club – the original Palapa remains while the reception , bar and restaurant has been refurnished and decorated by Antonio Martins Design from San Francisco whose team recently designed the Sufi Ocean Club & Sufito in Punta Mita. You will also find a new pool & pergola as well as a refurbished kids pool. Antonio is an avid Punta Mita fan and his inspiration for this project lies in capturing the magic of the past and cementing it into the future with the colors and texture of the Pacific and Mexico.

On the Culinary side the Pacifico Beach Clubs introduces it’s Pacifico Grill Latino with Chef David. Punta Mita has long been an oasis for travellers in search of a luxury seaside escapes seasoned with authentic culinary & cultural experiences and Pacifico Grill Latino is the perfect marriage of Mexico’s rich history and modern Latin Cuisine. From Tacos to Empanadas , Ceviches & Tiraditos to Snapper Zarandeado & Cuts off our Wood burning grill  we invite you to visit and enjoy this Culinary journey in Punta Mita accompanied the warm, friendly and efficient service led by Cesar Estrada and team.
