Since returning in my new role in Punta Mita nearly 8 years ago selecting 2 luxury hotels for the destination was priority on my agenda so from that angle we are extremely proud of this moment and to have in some way large or small have participated in the process. The process itself was very interesting as we spoke to Six Senses, Park Hyatt, Raffles, Banyan Tree, Belmond, Mandarin Oriental, Luxury Collection to name but a few. To come this far and break ground is a true milestone – one lesson learnt along the way was the importance of staying connected to all parties always even if at times it might look as they were not a possible candidate.

Montage International, in partnership with developer DINE and LCA Capital has officially broken ground today on the highly-anticipated Montage Punta Mita and Pendry Punta Mita, and branded residences within the renowned 1,500-acre master-planned community of Punta Mita, a coveted luxury destination on its own private peninsula in Nayarit.
