Despite having lived in England years ago I had never visited Bath until this very special occasion – the Graduation of our eldest daughter Tatiana from the University of Bath.  Set in the heart of the West County of England I found this city one to remember for more reasons then one. From the Royal Crescent to the breathtaking examples of Georgian architecture , trendy pubs & restaurants, beautiful parks and gardens, The Bath Golf Club, this city is a wonderful destination for a few days when visiting England. Don’t miss The Roman Baths, Sydney Gardens, Circus & Royal Crescent to name a few spots. Breakfast at Francis or Café Adventure are the go while we had a wonderful Graduation Dinner at the Porter – all dining spots to put on the list.

Congratulations to Tatiana – Bachelor of Science in Business Administration graduated with 2nd Class Honors after 4  years of studying. Well done seems so little  –it is more– I find it difficult to express the  emotion one feels when your own daughter walks across the alter to receive a handshake and her diploma – it is one to cherish and is certainly one of those crossroad  moments  in life. Graduating at the same time was Michael Lawrie Bergengruen – Chris and Bettinas eldest son who was baptized at the same time and place in Punta del Este, Uruguay over 21 years ago and who were flat mates here in Bath – a small world! Sabine & Chiara of course on hand along with all of Sabine’s Family – King, Mum, Domi, Rafa & Carola along with Cami y Santiago made it a memorable few days in Bath – World Cup games in between, home cooked dinners by yours truly and king, picnic at the Crescent, an afternoon along the waterways of Avon on Bradford, a little, and the Graduation Day itself made this few days one I will find hard to forget and always look back upon with fond memories.
