Celebrating 25 Years of Punta Mita’s Transformation

Today it has been just on 14 years that I first arrived to Punta Mita to manage The St Regis Punta Mita Resort. So after many memorable years in Punta Mita, I’m thrilled to announce the release of my latest book, Viva Punta Mita, a tribute to this iconic destination’s 25th anniversary! This coffee table book, spanning over 300 pages, delves into the remarkable transformation of this 1500 acrepeninsula, shaped by the vision of DINE Chairman Fernando Senderos Mestre in the 1990s.  The DINE team has over those years transformed Punta Mita into a benchmark of luxury and exclusivity, with world-class amenities that have put it on the global map as a symbol of elite travel and lifestyle.

In Viva Punta Mita, I have shared my personal insights, drawing from over a decade of living and working in this beautiful destination . This book is a heartfelt celebration of Punta Mita’s scenic beauty and innovative development, crafted for readers who appreciate luxury travel, architecture, and the story behind visionary real estate. I was fortunate to work alongside dedicated individuals, including Stephanie, Marcela, and Veronica, whose invaluable contributions made this project possible. My deep gratitude also goes out to the photographers and homeowners who contributed images, and to Lynne and Molly for their support and feedback throughout the journey.

Having spent 14 years here, Punta Mita is more than just a destination for me – it’s home. I hope Viva Punta Mita resonates with readers, capturing the true magic of this special place. And, of course, none of this would have been possible without the support of Fernando Senderos, Alejandro de la Barreda, and Alfredo Bonnin, who granted me the freedom to bring my vision to life.
