Sls Beverly Hills –¬†certianly one of my favourite hotels especially so for the good scene. Bazar is one of those places you con pop on any time and there is a vibe. Great cocktails and creative tapas – a must when in LA The Wallace¬† – Delighted to have found another solid TAPAS restaurant! The Wallace has a rustic/modern feel and the dim …family style concept is well executed – we had a fun dinner with some of LAs leading travel agents Try the DUCK RILLETTES: a dish served in a jar (like they serve pate) along with a couple pieces of toast. They have several “jarred” items to choose from. The Duck meat is slow-cooked, pulled/chopped, and served in a jar to be eaten as a spread. The duck was super tender and served with Goat Cheese, whole grain Mustard, and Spiced Fig. All these ingredients made the perfect spread!

Trump National Los Angeles – With magic scenery this pintoresque course is also a challenging one Played a round with mi amigo Jorge Campos (futbolista) former goalkeeper of the Mexican Football team and a great guy – not a bad golfer either – shoots off a 2 hcp and beat me 2 & 1. Jorge will be joining us as a special guest at this years American Express Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf.

Le Petit Bistro – any restaurant that can survive and thrive after 22 years deserves a round of applause. This is the case of Le Petit Bistro opened by Frenchman Georges Lechkar those many years ago. Classic bistro , Prawns au cassoulet with a secret herb sauce, duck confit, a sensastional chocolat souffle, apple tart just to name a few made it all a wonderful night with Herb and Jeannine – Herb a renowned architect and Jeannine President of Altour – georges sister.

Belair Golf Club – embedded in history this is most certainly a bucket list course. Fortunate to have been my 2nd outing on this historic course. Invited by friend Steve Smooke from CAA we had a great round despite losing our 2 ball to Fred father and son team on the 18th itself – some magical shots out there whilst some shockers as well in a 88 gross round. so that was LA in two days – work gourmet & golf – all work on the end and with pleasure! Brian and Natalia I hope you had as much fun as I did – always great fun and it should be as together we spread the word on our little piece of paradise –The St Regis Punta Mita
