Creating unique and unforgettable moments for others has always been part of my DNA. Putting this event together ranks highly amongst those I had created and executed over the years. Widely recognized as one of Golfs most unique and emblematic golf holes set on a natural island The Tail of the Whale was always on my mind for a unique gourmet moment. Jack Nicklaus ranks this hole as the prettiest par 3 he has designed and it is the only Par 3 in the world on a natural island.

As part of our Punta Mita Chefs Table series we had 2 great chefs from Argentina Fernando Mayoral & Javier Rodriguez hosted by our own Argie Exec Chef Pato Persico in Punta Mita cooking in different spots in our little paradise. They were my Master Chefs to pull this off and why not on Masters Sunday itself!

Tabletop with shades of Masters green guests in the same tone , a duo playing a mix of Tango and Latin music , typical Argentine grills set in the backside bunker #simplyperfect margaritas by Tequila Patron wines by Cantena from Argentina – the tone was set – hard to beat.

Any event can have all the physical settings however it is the human factor that pulls it off – from Veronica Stephanie to Phillipe and Patos team with the support of the Golf Team they were able to deliver a dinner to remember for our discerning Residents, hotel guests, press and friends.

Empanadas, Choripan, asado de tira , Rib Eye , Sweetbreads and more served with fresh garden salads all impecably prepared by the Argentine trio ensured a unique gourmet moment in paradise.

A putting competition was of course a natural part of the moment with the winner taking a print of the Tail of the Whale signed by the Chefs.

Soon after sunset with the rising tide on the up we all departed the Tail of the Whale content having experienced another special moment in Punta Mita #makeityourhome

A special thank you to the team and Vinoteca for supplying the fine wines from Argentina? which make any asado even more special.
